ABB GTPU2 Teach Pendant (3HAC023195-001)

The 3HAC023195-001 is ABB’s GTPU2 teach pendant — the original operator interface for IRC5 controllers before the DSQC 679 FlexPendant replaced it. If your facility runs an older IRC5 cell, this is likely the pendant your operators have used for years: a color touchscreen unit with a 3-axis joystick, membrane keypad, and a 10-metre cable connecting directly to the controller cabinet. ABB designated this model the TPU2, and it served as the standard IRC5 interface through the mid-2000s.

ABB discontinued the GTPU2 years ago. No new units are available from ABB or authorized distributors. That makes repair the only practical path when your 3HAC023195-001 develops problems — and after a decade or more of factory floor use, problems are inevitable. Component-level repair restores your existing pendant to full working condition without changing anything in your controller setup.
